To our loyal customers, it is with great sadness that we must notify you about the impending closure of FirstCam Outdoor, Inc. In October 2019, the owners and Board of Directors made the difficult decision to dissolve the company, and on November 15, 2019, formal Articles of Dissolution were filed with the State of Colorado. Within a short period, the company will close fully, so we wanted to take a moment to contact all of you regarding the next steps.
First, please know that we already issued formal notice to discontinue billing to your accounts. We utilize a third-party billing company, though, so they may not shut off the billing cycles immediately. However, we anticipate that billing to your accounts will cease quickly.
Second, although FirstCam Outdoor, Inc. is entering insolvency, our plan is to allow you to continue receiving the cellular connectivity benefits of your trail camera through at least December 15, 2019, and have provided notice to our cellular partners AT&T and Verizon to that effect. Should this date change in any substantial way, we will provide supplemental notice to you all.
Lastly, following the discontinuation of cellular connectivity, please understand that your trail cameras will still function for videography purposes, but any videos and images will need to be manually transferred to its intended destination.
We will work to keep you updated on any additional developments that may arise throughout this process. This has been a difficult decision for our company, but we greatly appreciate the support we received from you all since launching.
